ABOUT OUR DJEMBES: I consider my love of the djembe to be my best guide. While in Guinea with Bolokada, I thoroughly studied his technique of skinning his djembe. After playing and building drums for 12 years, I’ve honed my own skill of skinning djembes, as well as identifying great sounding ones. I have an extensive knowledge of how the different woods affect the sound of the drum. The shape of the drum and the quality of goatskin also affect the sound of the drum. I hand pick my djembes from Guinea, and I guarantee each drum to be of the highest standards. I look forward to helping you get just the right drum for you! – Billy
