We LOCK THE DOORS at start time, please arrive AT LEAST 20 minutes early to make sure you don't miss the session. We CANNOT REFUND or RESCHEDULE tickets for ANY REASON. Weekly sound healing sessions are held here at Skinny Beats Sound Shop (4 Eagle St - Asheville, NC). We offer an isolated space separate from the retail shop with extra thick yoga mats, blankets, bolsters and pillows on the floor, to give you a meditative space to clear your mind and relax to our unique soundscapes.
Online reservations are highly recommended. We do accept walk ins, but often we are sold out.
*Private parties and individual sound healing sessions are available:
Private session: $130 for one person, each additional person, add $35, if 10 or more people, a discount is available.
Group sessions: contact (828) 768-2826 or info@skinnybeatsdrums.com.
A good option for PARKING is at the ALOFT hotel parking garage. It's very close and reasonably priced. On Saturdays and Sundays, the large parking lot at the corner of Eagle and Charlotte is FREE and it's a huge lot that is basically never full. It's about a 7 minute walk up a hill to our space from that lot.
*NEW* Private sound healing classes
$150/hour or $75 for 30 minutes.- Available for training in how to work with crystal bowls, gongs, didgeridoo, handpans, and more. Classes are personalized per the student's interests and include a video recording of the class to use for further practicing. These are stand-alone classes which may be booked for a one time lesson or more.
Email Billy Zanski, shop owner, to schedule a class or for more info: info@skinnybeatsdrums.com. Online sign-up for these classes is unavailable.
Unlike the individual stand-alone sound healing class option, this program offers students a comprehensive curriculum on the science, theory and practice of sound healing and spans several weeks of study. Completion of this curriculum will include practitioner certification in the field of sound healing. Offering the flexibility of both in person and/or online training options, students will gain advanced technical training on a broad array of instruments and sound tools as well as expert methods for using them in sound sessions. Students will also closely study several perspectives on the science and theory of sound healing and how it works on the mind/body to promote wellness. Areas of study will include how to play the instruments, how to use them to create segments and progression, frequency and vibration theories of wellness, how sound works on the biofield, tuning theories and more.
Our Sound Healing Certification Program is taught by expert sound practitioner Billy Zanski. Billy uses his 20 years of sound experience to teach and train his students with his extensive knowledge base and musical background. He looks forward to training future practitioners and working together to spread the healing qualities of sound throughout the community.
